Specialty Centre
Critical Care Centre
The Critical Care Centre is a highly specialised facility dedicated to patients who require intensive monitoring, nursing care and complex respiratory support. The Centre is staffed 24 hours a day by specialists and critical care nurses, who are committed to providing the highest level of clinical care. The Centre is also positioned in close proximity to the operating theatres and Cardiac Catheterization & Intervention Centre so patients can receive emergency treatment in the shortest possible time.

Gynaecological Oncology Centre
The Gynaecological Oncology Centre provides a comprehensive range of specialised care for patients with gynaecological cancers. With recent significant advances in the management of gynaecological cancers, these cancers are treated using a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) approach. Examples include the use of sentinel lymph node mapping , hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy, targeted therapy and immunotherapy. The dedicated multidisciplinary team of doctors at Gleneagles is ready to achieve an optimal long-term outcome for patients.

Hand Surgery and Paralytic Reconstruction Centre
The Hand Surgery and Paralytic Reconstruction Centre delivers services in hand surgery, which include high-level hand service, microsurgical reconstruction and paralytic reconstruction. As a centre of hand surgery and paralytic reconstruction, the Centre organises regular intermediate and advanced surgical training courses for local and overseas doctors. The Centre also provides a platform for patient mutual support groups to learn more about their problems and explore possible management.

Pain Management Centre
The Pain Management Centre provides a comprehensive range of specialised care for patients with chronic non-cancer pain, chronic cancer pain and acute pain. The Centre’s pain specialists will provide consultations within outpatient and inpatient settings and accept referrals. The Centre offers a one-stop service from initial consultation to pharmacological therapy, psycho-behavioural techniques, physical therapy and specialist interventional procedures.

The Spine Centre adopts a professorial-led and team-based model in helping patients with common and complex spine-related problems. Doctors
Teaching & Training
Gleneagles is the first full-scale private teaching hospital in affiliation with the HKU Health System, offering clinical training to medical students of HKU Medical Faculty. All clinical teaching programmes at Gleneagles are designed and run by HKU, and taught by university professors. Apart from classroom lectures, students have training exposures in various settings including wards, outpatient clinics, A&E department etc.
Gleneagles provides an additional teaching ground for HKU medical students, allowing students to receive training in a private setting so as to allow them to gain the widest spectrum of exposure and experience. This expanded training capacity benefits the long-term development of medical professionals in Hong Kong which will in turn benefit patients.
Clinical training at Gleneagles is being progressively developed for professionals in different specialties and healthcare disciplines.
